Barrio happy hour

Barrio unveils a new cocktail specials and happy hour menu available Sunday through Thursday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. to midnight; Friday through Saturday from midnight to 2 a.m. The full Happy Hour menu can be found here.

Taste Washington! – this weekend

Taste of Washington includes 200 wineries and 75 restaurants showcasing premier sips and bites and to engage the audience in an educational venture fit to please any palate April 4th and 5th.

Some of the featured wineries and restaurants will include Olsen Estates, Saint Laurent Winery, Wines of Substance, Barrio, Purple Café and Wine Bar and Waterfront Seafood Grill.

1st Course
Salumi and Fra Mani salamis
Rabbit rillettes on toast with mostarda di uva
Foie gras stuffed Armagnac prunes
Marcona almonds and marinated olives

2nd Course
Burrata with fava beans, mint and olive oil croutons
Blue Bird Grain Farm farro with nettles, asparagus and mascarpone
Whole roasted Branzino with lemon, fennel and green olives
Naturally raised veal crepinette with Spring onions and morel mushroom cream
Rotisserie leg of lamb with polenta, escarole, pine nuts and currants
